MoSi2 resistive heating element is a high temperature resistant and anti-oxidation resistance heating element based on molybdenum disilicide. When used in high-temperature oxidizing atmosphere, a layer of bright and dense quartz (SiO2) glass film is formed on the surface, which can protect the inner layer of the silicon molybdenum rod from oxidation, so the silicon molybdenum rod element has unique high-temperature oxidation resistance.
MoSi2 element is matched with the automatic power supply system, which can not only obtain accurate constant temperature, but also automatically adjust the temperature according to the curve according to the actual needs of the production process. It has been widely used in the fields of national defense, machinery, metallurgy, light chemicals, ceramics, semiconductors, analysis and testing, scientific research, and has become the electric heating element of various electric furnaces and kilns. Tunnel kiln, roller kiln, glass furnace, vacuum furnace, muffle furnace, smelting furnace and various heating equipment are convenient, safe and reliable.

Precautions for MoSi2 elements
1. MoSi2 heating elements should not be used within the temperature range of 400 ℃ to 700 ℃. Therefore, under such adverse conditions, the elements will be oxidized at low temperature and cause damage to the elements.
2. MoSi2 heating elements are suitable for use in air and neutral atmosphere, reducing atmosphere such as hydrogen will damage the protective layer, and chlorine and sulfur vapor will directly damage the elements.
3. MoSi2 heating elements soften at high temperature (above 1500 ℃), and are hard and brittle at low temperature. In order to avoid stress during temperature change and facilitate the expansion and contraction of elements, it is better to use free vertical hanging installation method. The removal and replacement of lifting elements is also more convenient, and can be heat exchanged without waiting for the furnace to cool down.
