University of Shanghai for Science and Technology Factory was founded in 1958. We have a history of 40 years in manufacturing Optical Tables and other Optical Instruments. Our products are used in Optic/Electro-Optics Research, Bio-Medical Research and Semiconductor Manufacturing. The Optical Tables are well sold in China. In the passed five years, we sold more than 300 Optical Tables every year.
Advanced equipment and processes have made it possible to investigate phenomena with dimensions measured in nanometers. For example, phase-shifting optical interferometers can now measure surface roughness with a resolution of about one nanometer. In the semiconductor field, integrated circuits with submicron line widths are now being produced. Applications like these have created the demand for equally innovative vibration-isolated support structures, which provide the stability needed for such measurements and processes.
