The TRANS-AUDIO MD15A is a self-powered two way system. The loudspeaker's high-frequency section comprises a 1.5-inch diaphragm compression driver a symmetrical (80 degrees horizontal by 60 degrees vertical) constant directivity horn. A custom-designed aluminum plate frame structure(3-inch voice coil, ± 5.5mm) 15-inch driver, bass reflex mounted in an optimally vented enclosure, reproduces low frequencies. As a full range system, the frequency response shall be 60 Hz to 18 kHz with less than ± 3 dB variation and the usable bandwidth shall be 50 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB).
The system contains a 800w/4ohm/RMS power amplification module provide extremely high power output with low distortion and smooth phase response.
This series structures is an trapezoidal enclosure. Constructed from 18mm birch plywood, fitted with recessed handles on the sides are provided for easy lifting and carrying, internal M8 rigging points, performing r ed cabinet and very easy for rigging. The cabinet is finished in excellent black semi-matt textured paint with a internal socket to accept standard loudspeaker stand and the front of the enclosure shall be protected by 1.5 mm thick steel grille that is covered with newest unique acoustically-transparent braiding.
