Hopper Bottom steel silos are used for storing Granular and Powdery Material: grain (such as wheat, corn, maize, rice, paddy, malt, and barley, soybean, and coffee bean .etc), seeds, feeds, flour, plastic pellet (such as PP Pellet, PA Pellet, and PVC Pellet), wooden pellet, etc;

Structure:

1. The Silo Body

Includes the wall plate, column, manhole, roof ladders.

(1) The wall plate

Our steel is hot galvanized, which makes it durable and weather resistant.

Our advanced bolts with spherical washer and the resisting-worn rubber are used to ensure the tightness and using period.

(2) Column

The column, made by the Z-bar, is used to reinforce the silo body. It is connected by junction panels.

(3) Manhole and Roof Ladders

There are inspection door and ladders inside and outside the silo body. It is convenient and accessible for any maintenance work.

2. Roof  

Roof is made up of radiated beam, roof cover board, tension ring, ventilator scoop, roof cap, etc.

Best advantage because of the Hopper Bottom

The grain inside silos could unload automatically due to gravity, without using power, different to flat bottom silo, it has steel leg and carbon steel bottom. This is the biggest advantage, but because of the limited support of steel leg, silo capacity is limited up to 1250tons, when the single silo capacity is in this range, we s est using this model because from the long run it is power savely.
