Flat Bottom Usage

Flat-bottom steel silos are used for storing Granular and Powdery Material: grain (such as wheat, corn, maize, rice, paddy, malt, and barley, soybean, and coffee bean .etc), seeds, feeds, flour, plastic pellet (such as PP Pellet, PA Pellet, and PVC Pellet), wooden pellet, etc;

Flat-bottom steel silos can be widely used in grain process and storage lines, oil, feed, flour, starch, brewery, and port or grain storage industrial lines.

Characteristic of Flat Bottom Silo

Structure:

1. The Silo Body

Includes the wall plate, column, manhole, roof ladders.

(1) The wall plate

Our steel is hot galvanized, which makes it durable and weather resistant.

Our advanced bolts with spherical washer and the resisting-worn rubber are used to ensure the tightness and using period.

(2) Column

The column, made by the Z-bar, is used to reinforce the silo body. It is connected by junction panels.

(3) Manhole and Roof Ladders

There are inspection door and ladders inside and outside the silo body. It is convenient and accessible for any maintenance work.

2. Roof 

Roof is made up of radiated beam, roof cover board, tension ring, ventilator scoop, roof cap, etc.3

3, Silo Bottom

As you can see from the picture,

The silo bottom is made of cement, the structure include: ventilation pipe, sweep auger and conveyor.

When sweep auger run, grain will unloading into conveyor under the silo, then unloaded from silo.
