Details of Pot Bearings 

     Pot Bearings have been designed to be very easy to install, maintenance-free and cost-effective. The product has been successfully used in a broad range of applications which include: bridges, viaducts, high rise buildings, stadiums and dams.

     Pot Bearings are designed for very high vertical, horizontal and lateral loads and where rotational structural displacements need to be accommodated. 
The bearings are grouped into three categories: fixed bearing (restriction of all movement in planar axis); guided bearing (restriction of movement in one 
direction in planar axis); multidirectional bearing (allows movement in all planes and axes). All three types can be designed to accommodate uplift loads, 
often required during construction or the life of the structure. The bearings are designed to be quickly and easily replaced due to the structural fastening 
and attachment strategy BL deploys.

     All of BL Bridge Pot designs, materials & fabrication processes can be adapted to client required manufacturing specifications or codes of practice; for any country. 
The bearing is designed to be maintenance free for the duration of its design life and operate down to extremely low temperatures, as low as -40 degrees Centigrade. 

Bearing performance:

     Manufacture as <<JT391-1999>>, With large carrying capacity, small deformation, horizontal displacement of large, flexible steering.

Application Range of Temperature:

     1. Normal temperature bearing: -25~+60 centigrade

     2. Cold-resistant bearing:-40~+60 centigrade

Technical Performance:

 1. Basin type bearings can be divided into: fixed bearing, one-way activity, including a one-way movable bearing non slip direction of the horizontal.

2. Bearing capacity shall not be less than fixed support vertical bearing capacity of 10%.Which type of GPZ basin type 
bearing horizontal bearing capacity of vertical bearing capacity of not less than 20% support. The whole supporting seat rotating angle is not less than 0.02rad.

3. Plus 5201 grease lubrication, normal temperature type movable support design of friction coefficient of minimum 0.03.

4. Plus 5201 grease lubrication, cold type movable support design of friction coefficient of minimum 0.06.

5. The series of bearing current capacity is 31 levels, the bearing capacity of 0.8MN-60MN, can satisfy the need of large bridge construction. Each level is fixed (GD), a one-way activity (DX) and two-way activity (SX) in three type.
