The aluminum titanate has higher melting point(1860° C± 10° C), lower thermal expansion coefficient(RT_1000° C, α < 2.0× 10-6/° C) and excellent heat-shock resistance. Besides, the aluminum titanate don't infiltrate with the metal melt(especially the non-ferrous metals) and glass melt. Therefore aluminum titanate can be widely used in the conditions of high-temperature resistance, heat-shock resistance and corrision resistance.
