It is extracted from healthy bovine or sheep bile or bile extractum. Cholic acid exists in bile of multiple vertebrate. It is very rich in Bovine, sheep and gall and exists as combined bile acid pattern.

Main Specification: residue on ignition should be equal or less than 0.3%. Loss on drying should be equal or less than 1%. It is calculated on dry goods. Cholid acid (C24H40O5) content should no less than 80%.

Properties: it is white powder and bitter in taste.

Application: it is the main raw material of artificial bezoar and also used for health care products and food.
