SLIP MASTERBATCH 

SL PE ER 7.5 

SL PE ER 7.5 is a masterbatch containing 7.5% refined erucamide in a LDPE carrier resin (MI 7).  This masterbatch reduces the coefficient of friction between polyethylene films.

USAGE 

 

SL PE ER 7.5 is compatible with all grades of PE and EVA. It can be used with antiblocking agents when required. 

SL PE ER 7.5 masterbatch may contribute an antistatic effect in some cases. 

It is also used as a mold releasing agent for injection molding and gives surface gloss to some molded 
parts. 

SL PE ER 7.5 should not be used in cling film formulations using polybutene. 

 

RECOMMENDED ADDITION RATES 

 

Typical dose concentrations are between 1 and 2 % masterbatch. 

FOOD CONTACT STATUS 

Erucamides are food- approved for  a number of applications. 

 

PACKAGING 

 

Product is packed in 25 kg PE bags on 1375 kg shrink-wrapped pallets.
