This kind of thermocouple only has one wire versus conventional themocouple which has two wires. So its wire can be thicker than conventional thermocouple to meet the requirement for high temperature. Besides, the thermowell is used as another wire separated from the wire by insulating material. The three parts constitute indivisible entity which is flexible.
