Silane KH-792 can act as an adhesion promoter in Glass. Silane KH-792 reduces the filler's sedimentation tendency and improves dispersibility and numerous mechanical properties (e.g. flexural strength, tensile strength, modulus of elasticity) of the composites.The use of KH-792 silane coupling agent also results in a improved resistance to water (vapor) and corrosion. Electrical properties, such as volume resistivity and the dielectric constant, are also positively influenced.KH-792 silane coupling agent can improve muti-substrate adhesion, including glass, steel, aluminum and concrete. This silane can dramatically enhance the adhesion to a wide array of plastics when used in combination with SPURSM Technology for silylating urethane polymers.
