Description

SJ501 is the acidic sintered flux with aluminum and titanium. The basicity is about 0.5-0.8 and shows round particles appearance. The granularity is 10-60 mesh (about 2.0-0.28mm). It can be adapted both AC-DC. The welding wire is connected with the positive pole when adapt DC power supply. It has advantages of stable arc, beautiful welding shaping, easy slag removal and excellent mechanical properties in fused metallization.

Application

With the corresponding wire (such as H08A and H08MnA etc). It is Mainly used for welding of low carbon steel and low alloy steel structure. Such as submerged arc welding of boiler and pressure vessel and ship. The deposited metal has good impact toughness. SJ501 can be used for multi wire fast welding with the welding speed of 70m/h or so, double wire single pass welding and thin plate welding. For example 16Mn, X65, X70, 14MnNiq and Q345C. Structure and boiler and pressure vessels, ships, bridges, pipelines and other submerged arc welding.

Note:

1. Flux must be baked for 2 hours at 300-350℃ before welding.
2. The impurities such as rust, oil and water should be removed before welding.
