Brazing Characteristics
Sanhuan Silver Brazing Material SAg-25 is a structure alloy based on silver or silver-base solid solution, exhibits moderate ductility and slightly higher melting temperature than alloys containing higher percentage of silver and/or tin. Sanhuan silver-copper-zinc brazing alloy, with good processing property, low melting point, good wetting ability and gap filing ability, intensive joint, good plasticity and electrical conductivity and good corrosion resistance.

Application
Sanhuan Phos-Copper-Silver brazing alloy SAg-25 is similar to BAg-2 but has a lower silver content and is somewhat more subject to liquation due to a wider melting range. It is economical, general purpose braze filler metal for joining ferrous and non-ferrous materials where relatively large clearances are encountered.

SAg-25 contains cadmium, and the fumes formed upon heating are toxic. Special precautions as shown in the required precautionary information, as specified in 18.4 of ASME Section C, shall be followed.
