FLD temporary cone strainers are almost conical filter, the filter belong to pipeline coarse filter series with removing the impurity in the medium in pipeline. Temporary strainers provide effective and economical protection of pumps, valves, meters and other equipment.  The industrial filter is fabricated temporary cone, basket and plate strainers from heavy gauge perforated plate with punched holes designed to catch the debris during start-up in pipelines. They can be fabricated with or without wire mesh to filter out the particles, the wire mesh can be added to inside or outside of the temporary filter, depending on the direction of the flow. All mesh is added to the outer area if not specified.

 

The temporary filters need no modify the piping structure and can be cleaned for reused. Its principle for fluid into the filter, the impurities be blocked and the clean fluid outflow export. When need to clean, unloaded conical filter after cleaning can load. The filter is mounted between two flanges.

Maintenance

   1.) The temporary filter is the key element, the wire mesh belong to wear parts, it need a special protection.

   2.) After the filter has worked for some time, the impurities are removed in the filter core in time.

   3.) When cleaning the impurities, the wire mesh should be ensure that the core is not deformed or damaged.

   4.) Once the wire mesh is deformed or damaged, it should be replaced immediately.
