SA299 Gr.A carbon steel is widely used for manufacturing pressure and boiler equipments. Plates of this standard under this thickness of 50 mm are normally supplied in as-rolled condition. Plates may be ordered normalized or stress relieved, or both. SA299 Gr.A Plates over 50 mm in thickness shall be normalized.

Thickness from 5mm to 150mm

Width: from 1,500mm to 2,500mm

Length: from 6,000mm to 12,000mm

Technical conditions

Ultrasonic tested as per SA 578 or any other as per requirement

2) MTC acc to EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2

3) Charpy Impact tested at -20 /-46 DegC.

4) Furnace Normalised
