The covering agent products are environment-friendly and high-efficiency slag agglomerating, slag removing and heat preservation covering agents. It can effectively prevent the slag from adhering to the ladle, furnace lining and entering the casting, reduce the slag inclusion defects of the casting, cover the molten metal for heat preservation, and reduce the invasion of hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen to the molten metal.

The covering agent product series cao-sio2-mgo is the basic covering agent of slag system, which can gather slag and keep heat. The covering agent in working state is of three-layer structure, namely powder loading layer, transition layer and slag dissolving layer. The top powder layer has the function of heat insulation and heat preservation. The slag layer which directly contacts with the molten steel can absorb inclusions and prevent the secondary oxidation of the molten steel. The upper protective layer with more SiO2, therefore, the actual basicity of slag layer is larger than that calculated by chemical composition. Compared with traditional products, this product has the following characteristics:

1. The steel spreading performance is good, and the covering agent can quickly spread on the surface of the molten steel to form a uniform covering layer.

2. It has strong ability of absorbing inclusions, good isolation with air, and can meet the requirements of cleanliness of molten steel.

3. It has good heat preservation performance with temperature drop less than 0.5. C / min.

4. The erosion of long nozzle and ladle lining is small.

Scope of application: it can remove the slag on the metal surface of smelting furnace and ladle. It can be applied to stainless steel, cast steel, cast iron, cast copper and cast aluminum.

Instructions for use: 1. When smelting in smelting furnace, after the metal is liquefied and cleaned, a small amount of slag remover is sprinkled on the surface of metal liquid for preliminary slag removal, and then a thin layer is sprinkled on the surface of metal liquid to play the role of heat preservation and slag accumulation, and slag is scraped before discharging.

2. Before the liquid metal comes out of the water, a little slag remover can be sprinkled on the bottom of the bag. However, it is s ested that the slag remover should not be placed at the bottom of the ladle before the cast iron is discharged, so as not to affect the inoculation effect of spheroidization.

3. Sprinkle a little slag remover on the top surface of the molten iron in the ladle. After raking the slag, sprinkle a little cover for pouring.

4. The dosage is about 0.3% - 0.5% of the weight of liquid metal.
