INTRODUCTION

It is a popular apparatus used in the evaluation of the appearance retention of carpets.

Test for carpet and textile floorcoverings on production of changes in appearance by means of vettermann drum.

PRINCIPLE

A steel ball with studs rolls randomly inside a rotating drum which is lined with the textile floor coverings specimens.After fatiguing ,the change in appearance of the specimens is assessed in accordance with the applicable assessment standard.
