Nickel - based tungsten carbide alloy powder for spray welding of valves
Plasma surfacing of nickel-based tungsten carbide alloy powder is a surfacing welding process in which the alloy powder is heated and melted together with the substrate surface to form an alloy layer by using the plasma arc as the heat source and the alloy powder as the filling metal.Different types of alloy powders such as nickel base alloy, cobalt base alloy and iron base alloy can be used for cladding process according to different working conditions.The process of plasma cladding nickel-based tungsten carbide is described below.
Production equipment: plasma powder surfacing welding machine;
Purpose of surfacing: mainly wear resistance, and corrosion resistance;
Hardness index: different cladding materials, hardness index is different, about the range of hardness index HRC58-65;
Base material: stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, etc.;
Cladding material: nickel-based alloy with tungsten carbide content of 8%-60% can be selected
Pre-welding treatment: workpiece preheating 400℃, time two hours;
Post-welding treatment: after welding, keep heat at 400℃ for two hours, then use insulation cotton or insulation sand to keep heat, slow down the temperature, eliminate stress;
Bonding strength: equal strength bonding, can ensure that the cladding layer does not fall off under the pressure of hundreds of MPa;
Dilution rate: 5%-10%.
