Through the mutual dissolution and diffusion of the liquid alloy and the solid surface of the workpiece, the metallurgical combination is realized and the dense spray welding layer is formed. 

The protective coatings with high density, high hardness and high bonding strength can be prepared on the workpiece matrix by using the proper spray welding method of self-fusing alloy.The coating has excellent performance such as abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance and heat shock resistance, which effectively prolongs the service life of the workpiece.
