Our Frozen Squid bags contain manually cut squid tubes and tentacles of Pacific flying squid (Ommastrephes sloani pacificus). We only purchase and process tubes and tentacles which have not been treated (bleached) with formaldehyde or peroxide for artificially whitening their color. Squid contain all for fish essential amino acids.

Can be fed to:

• Marine predatory fish on a daily basis.
• Or as an occasional treat to triggers, groupers and/or invertebrates.
• Or as a treat for adult aquatic reptiles such as red-eared sliders and other painted turtles.

Bagged frozen squid are available in resealable (zip-lock) LDPE bags in the following sizes:

• SKU 88395: 227 g (8 OZ); 48 bags per carton
• SKU 88495: 454 g (16 OZ); 24 bags per carton

All bags have been manually filled to safeguard product integrity and have been frozen individually in our quick-freezer. Each bag contains a lot code and date of expiry for tracking purposes. Samples of each lot are submitted to an accredited laboratory for Salmonella analyses before being sold.
