The 3CX15000A3 is a metal ceramic, forced air cooled triode with a thoriated tungsten carbide cathode and a medium amplification factor. The operating frequency is 100MHz, the anode and grid dissipation powers are 15kW and 500w. It’s mainly used as power oscillators in industrial RF heating equipment, and also as common plate-modulated oscillators or linear amplifiers.
