SAFT Term Analysis

When the specimen is loaded with a certain standard mass, the upper limit temperature that it can bear when the adhesive region is sheared to failure is the shear failure temperature SAFT.

 

Test principle

By controlling the heating rate of the oven, the time for the adhesive failure of the adhesive tape specimen is measured, and then the shear failure temperature is calculated.
