Product properties & Features

Benzocaine is a white acicular crystal with a melting point of 90-92℃, slightly soluble in water and easily soluble in organic solvents. For example: ethanol, chloroform, ether, soluble in almond oil, olive oil. Benzocaine, as a non-aqueous Chemicalbook anesthetic, has analgesic and pruritic effects. It is clinically used in wound anesthesia, ulcerative anesthesia, mucosal surface anesthesia and hemorrhoid anesthesia. Its pharmacological effect is mainly to block nerve endings to relieve pain and pruritic.

Application

This product is a local anesthetic, used for the pain relief of wounds, ulcerations and hemorrhoids, and is also an intermediate in the antitussive medicine cough.
