Geosynthetic Clay Liners are high performance needle punched environmental reinforced composites which combine two durable geotextile outer layers with a uniform core of natural sodium bentonite clay to form a hydraulic barrier. Fibers from the non-woven geotextile are needle punched through the layer of bentonite and incorporated into the other geotextile.

When hydrated under a confining load, the bentonite swells to form a low permeability clay layer with the equivalent hydraulic protection of several feet of compacted clay. The excellent properties make the products ideal for many projects.

Usage:

1. The subgrades must be tamped before paving the GCL, the surface should be smooth. And it should not have the obvious hollow space.
2. The surface should be dry.
3.The minimum angle of land surface exposed to the sun should be more than 30cm.
4.The construction of GCL should be begin until checking out the foundation
