DSM61 PLC AMR Solution

General Introduction

Adopting the low-voltage power line as communication channel, 3-level relay depth remarkably enhances the communication distance. It is a cost-effective AMR (automatic meter reading) project that is simple and convenient installation & calibration without stringing, meeting the AMR requirements of residential area.

 

Equipments:

l         RS485 single phase meter;

l         PLC Collector (downlink communication is RS485, uplink communication is PLC);

l         Data concentrator(downlink communication is PLC, uplink communication is GPRS/CDMA);

l         Distribution Transformer Area Meter

l         AMR Software.

1 collector can connect 32 pcs of single phase meter at the most, and 1 concentrator can connect  about 50 pcs of collector  (the exact connection qty is up to the on-site installation environment)

 

Operation procedure:

PLC collector collects the single phase meter’s data through RS485 communication, and the data concentrator collects these datas through PLC communication, at last the data concentrator transmit these datas to AMR Software through GPRS/CDMA communication.
