DSM62 RS485 AMR Solution

General Introduction:

Adopting the exclusive shielded twisted-pair as communication channel, with the advantage of stable and reliable communication that is not subject to the environmental impact and the disadvantage of high cost and construction difficulty along with stringing, it is applicable to the AMR for residents, shops and industry, meeting the requirements of meter reading, switching and prepayment.

 

Equipments:

l         RS485 single phase meter;

l         RS485 Collector (downlink communication is RS485, uplink communication is RS485);

l         Data concentrator(downlink communication is RS485, uplink communication is GPRS/CDMA);

l         Distribution Transformer Area Meter

l         AMR Software.

1 collector can connect 32 pcs of single phase meter at the most, and 1 concentrator can connect  about 50 pcs of collector (the exact connection qty is up to the on-site installation environment)

 

Operation procedure:

RS485 collector collects the single phase meter’s data through RS485 communication, and the data concentrator collects these datas through RS485 communication, at last the data concentrator transmit these datas to AMR Software through GPRS/CDMA communication.
