Product Description
I. Product Performance
- The Product is suitable for dry laminating of food, drugs and flexible packaging, especially for products having strict requirements for the residual and abnormal smell in light packaging under 5 °C. The product has good transparency;
- It is cost-effective to adopt alcohol as the solvent. In this way, the cost is reduced. A solvent with low toxicity and little irritation is adopted to greatly improve the working environment and ensure safety and environmental protection.
- The ink is widely-used and may combine with general chlorinated polypropylene, alcohol soluble polyurethane and water-based ink, so that the product demonstrates good leveling performance and mottling does not easily occur in laminating white ink.
- The Product is suitable for the lamination of thin films, such as BOPP, PA, CPP, PE, PET, etc., and may be adapted to a working environment with relatively high temperature.
II. Diluents:
The adhesive may adopt ethyl alcohol and isopropyl alcohol with purity of over 99% as solvents. If a solvent of low purity is adopted, the adhesive solution will be muddy and white, thus affecting the coating effects. In the solvent, the volume content of ketones is less than 0.5%, and that of aldehyde is less than 0.02%.

V. Operating Conditions
- Dilution: Sufficient solvent is first added to the main agent and fully stirred, and then the hardening agent is added and fully stirred.
- Coating Method: It is suitable for coating any smooth roll and Anilox roll, and according to the coating weight as required in the process, the line numbers and mesh depth of the pressure roll and Anilox roll are reasonably proportionate;
- Working Concentration: The generally recommended concentration is 20% ~ 30%, and the optimum concentration is 30%.
- Coating Weight: 1.5 g/㎡~3.0g/㎡may be selected for the dry coating.
- Drying: on the premise of ensuring lamination speed, the temperature of the drying tunnel shall be properly raised or the air quantity shall be increased. When the drying system has three or more sections, the temperature of the entry end shall be controlled at 55°C ~ 65°C; and that of exit end may be raised to 75°C ~ 85°C degrees for setting the temperature gradient.
- Lamination Pressure and Temperature: In order that thin films are not damaged and the opening property of the inner layer is not affected, the pressure and temperature of the lamination roll shall be raised as far as possible. According to the different products, the temperature range is generally controlled within 60°C~80°C.
- Curing: It may be cut and made into bags after maturation of 12 – 24 hours at 45±5℃. Thin type packaging may be not cured or naturally cured when the indoor temperature is more than 40℃.
- The Product shall be stored in a dry and cool place, with a validity period of one year for the main agent and ten months for the curing agent.
