Compression performance tests

We entrusted Shandong University Mechanical Engineering Test Center to make compression performance tests (see the below figures)on our fenders. The high precision pressure sensors and computer real-time data collection processor were used for the tests. As a result, the relations are obtained between deflection, compressive reaction force, inner pressure and energy absorption. The curves (see the right figure) were drawn automatically with transformed data. The test results approved that CHANGLIN pneumatic rubber fenders had reached the international advanced level.

Outer rubber

Rubber layer that covers the outside of the fender to protect the cord layers and inner liner rubber from abrasion and other external forces .

Inner rubber

Liner of a rubber membrane that seals the pressurized air inside the fender.

Synthetic-tyre-cord layer for reinforcement

Layer made of synthetic-tyre-cord fabric, which is the reinforcement material to maintain the internal air pressure of the fender.
