Eurosens Difference 02 applies to vehicles with leaf spring suspension. Can be installed on two-axle or three-axle vehicle, installation will be simple with an installation kit.
Eurosens Difference 02 in fact is resistive position sensor and is designed to provide information on the distance between the body and the axis of the vehicle. Measured value is proportional to axle load of vehicle.

Rated supply voltage Us = 24 V. Output sensor voltage at the control points depending on the lever angle specified in Table 1.

It is important to observe when installing the sensor permissible angles of its lever movement.

Installation of Difference 02:

1. Choose most loaded axle of the vehicle

2. Choose a mounting places, determine level and arms (from service kit) length

After installing and connecting Difference 02 you have to perform a calibration in which you are mapping the output voltage of sensor with axle load.

Before attempting to install a displacement sensor, it is important to detecta suspension travel, possible attachment points on the frame and suspension of the vehicle. Preferably use the free holes in the structural elements of the vehicle to mount the sensor elements and the mounting kit, if such holes do not, then resort to other methods of attachment, such as the welding of plates and specially manufactured parts (see Figure 2).
