Tungsten heavy alloys material formed by adding a small amount of Ni, Fe, Cu, Co, Mo, Cr and other elements into tungsten (generally with the content of 80%~98%) serving as the basis. High-specific-gravity tungsten alloy has the density of 15.20~18.70g/cm3, and is also called high-specific-gravity alloy or high-density alloy material by people. High-specific-gravity tungsten alloy is mainly divided into two series, W-Ni-Fe (weakly magnetic) and W-Ni-Cu (non-magnetic) even W-Ni-Fe-Cu. By comparison, W-Ni-Fe alloy has a higher mechanical property and plays a great role in the national defence industry and various fields of national economy, is a very important military new material in the national defence industry, and is gradually generalized to all the civil industries.
