Raise boring cutters are usually applied to bore very hard and very abrasive rock. We manufacture 12" raise boring cutters with different carbide rows. The cutters with carbide buttons, namely button disc cutters, TCI disc cutters, are easily mounted in raise boring head with the saddles in certain patterns to get different spacing between the rows to suit different geological conditions. Generally, large row spacing is fit for soft rock and narrow row spacing is fit for harder formations.

• Cutter cones are forged with high quality alloy steel, and heat-treated to proper balance between hardness and toughness.
• Carbide inserts can be selected from a wide range of shapes, sizes and carbide grades to ensure long service life and high penetration rate.
• Carbides are inserted in cones with different rows. The combination of cutters with different rows Carbides results in different spacing to suit different rock formations.
• Combined axial-radial roller bearings ensure cutters have high operating loads, in this way the raise boring head has high stability and penetration rate.
• Unique Metal floating seal and pressure balancing device are assembled in cutters, which can improve sealing ability, and lubrication grease will not leak and sand will not permeate, in this way cutter bearings have long lifetime
• Cutters can be easily mounted on the saddles and positioned in raise boring head in certain patterns with different spacing to suit different rock formations.
• Our raise boring cutters can be interchanged with SANDVIK, BAKER HUGHES and ATLAS-COPCO SECOROC raise boring cutters.
