Insert tricone bits, namely button tricone bits, TCI tricone bits, are generally applied to drill hard and abrasive formations with high drilling efficiency.

In our insert tricone bits, namely button tricone bits, TCI tricone bits, the insert bits are made from carbide compacts of high strength and high toughness, and are inserted in bit bodies with optima numbers and rows. So they have high wear resistance and excellent cutting ability. To enhance gauge-protection and wear resistant of the cones, gauge trimmers teeth are inserted between the heel row teeth of cones. Carbide teeth are also inserted into the back of legs and cones to enhance the resistance to abrasion and erosion of leg and cones.

Our insert tricone bits utilize either roller bearing or sealed journal bearing to ensure that they can be applied in different formations such as soft formations with low compressive strength, hard formations with high compression strength and semi-abrasive formations.

In our Sealed Journal Bearing insert Tricone Bits, arc-sealing structure is able to enlarge the diameter of seal ring and increase the contact length of sealing. Moreover, with such structure, compression rate of seal ring can be regulated to enhance the reliability of the seal.

In our roller bearing insert tricone bits, rollers are arranged in groove in the cone body to maintain journal in a bigger size and journal sealing area in a relative smaller condition. In such structure, linear speed of seal ring can be reduced to extend the resistance life.

In our insert tricone bits, lubrication reservoir system and hydraulic system are reasonable, and improve the reliability of the reservoir seal and hydro-horsepower of bits.
