GY201is a series of all-round intelligent motor protector which imports IC, intellectual property patented technology and the software copyright production.GY201 adopts the microprocessor to execute the motor protection and control, and support the feeder protection, complete the motor operation, self-diagnosis and communication with PC, etc. It provides measurement for motor protection to avoid the production accidents because of motor overload, locked-rotor, overvoltage, undervoltage, light load, open phase, three-phase imbalance, grounding failure, to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
This microcomputer monitoring protector is a comprehensive device for collecting, calculating, analyzing, monitoring, alarming and controlling of various running information data in the operation of the motor. The device can provide immediate and accurate protection and ensure the safety of the production by means of alarm, protection action (protection of unbuckle) and the setting of time-delay time. The device can carry out real time monitoring on the upper computer about the slim information of the motor running condition through the data communication and provide the management information by computer data processing. The limit alarm can timely remind administrative staff to deal before a significant fault may happen, which can avoid the unnecessary downtime or affect the normal production, to ensure effectiveness of operation and control to the maximum. When the motor running parameter reaches the preset warning value, the protective device only has the warning, and does not trigger the tripping; But when the limit reaches the preset value, the protection device enters the trip trigger delay. If the device returns to normal operation in the preset trip time delay, the trip will be canceled. If the delay time limit is exceeded, the protective device will emit a trip signal to drive the action of the element, and disconnect the power to stop the motor running. While the motor control device provides various protection functions, various protection information is also sent to the computer management system via the device generation and communication interface.
Protection function: Overflow protection, underflow protection, open-phase protection, three-phase unbalanced protection, motor Shaft Lock Protection, under-voltage protection, overvoltage protection, start timeout protection, leakage protection, short circuit protection.
When the load of motor are carrying pump load, motor racing or running underflow, which causes serious damage, protector provides underflow protection. When the percentage of the average current and the rated current of the three-phase is lower than the set value, the protector should react in action (delay) setting time or alarm in the alarm time.
Motor in the process of starting or running, if electric shaft is stuck due to overload or own machinery, and did not remove the fault in time, will cause the motor overheating and burn motor. Locked-rotor protection is suitable for such fault protection when motor starts. Blocking protection is suitable for such a failure in the process of motor operation. When the current reaches action set current, protector should react in action (delay) setting time action or alarm in the alarm time.
When the harm of the motor occurs, open-phase(imbalance) protection operates. When the motor open-phase or three phase current serious imbalance occurs, such as imbalance rate reaches the protection setting, protector will set a parking or alarm instructions according to the requirements of setting to make motor run more safely.
leakage protection
The protector also has grounding protection and leakage protection. Earthing protection current signal comes from the vector and the inner current transformer, used for protection of motor metal case of short circuit. The protector can detect the fault current in 30 ~ 50mA through increasing leakage current transformer, is mainly used for indirect grounding to ensure personal safety.
When protector detect external faults, external fault switch input and protector switch input of the definition are inconsistent, the protector will react according to the requirements of setting to ensure the motor equipment safety.
The protectors with phase sequence protection function should not move when the voltage phase sequence of the power side is in accordance with the sequence of the set. The motor should not be started when the protective device detects that the phase sequence of the electric d is wrong.
Undervoltage protection
Low voltage will cause motor speed reduced, and even stop running. When the motor running voltage drops to set the range of low voltage protection, protector will react according to the requirements setting in action (delay) setting time or alarm in the alarm time, to avoid unnecessary chaos and serious impact production.
Monitor display
LDC semi-chinese shows the running state, three-phase current, line voltage, leakage current, motor temperature and fault information. The LED indicates the fault information of the motor.
Fieldbus function
GY201 has a RS-485 remote communication interface, supports MODBUS-RTU, bus protocol, convenient for network system with PLC, DCS and background unit, or USES current to send 4-20mA output with the background machine to monitor. Through the background machine, real-time control of the field equipment, operation condition parameter monitoring and historical data query. GY201 has great convenience for the motor maintenance plan and the maintenance cost of the equipment.
