SBS/SBR HDPE/PET Self Adhesive Bitumen Waterproofing Membrane
INTRODUCTION
HS-800 self adhesive bitumen waterproofing membrane made of SBS, SBR synthetic rubber, tackifying resin
and excellent quality road petroleum bitumen, it’s surface(top) material is tough and high dense polyethylene
(HDPE) or high and excellent quality temperature resistance polyester membrane (PET), and bottom
material is an anti-adhesion, removable coated silicon interleaving paper.

2.Excellent low temperature flexibility and extensibility, adapt to expansion or cracking deformation on
substrate.
3.With excellent self healing for small crack produced by nail pierce or external stress.
4.With durable adhesion, adhere to substrate without dropping and water channeling, self adhesive on
juncture is same life time with membrane.
5.Made of self adhesive rubber bitumen and HDPE (or PET), with excellent resistance to water.
6.HDPE membrane, resistance to puncture, high impact, unique and continuous high resistance to tearing,
easily trim on site.
APPLICATION RANGE
1.In general, applied to all kinds waterproofing systems such as industrial and civil building basement, roofing
and metal structural roofing.
2.Tunnel, Bridge and metro municipal waterproofing systems.
3.Especially applied to oil depots, chemical plants, textile mills, grain depot etc. waterproofing systems, which
is not suitable to use naked flame.
APPLICATION REQUEST
1.Substrate request: waterproofing substrate requires solid, flat, smooth, clean, dry, free of dust and oil.
2.Brushed with substrate primer.
3. If dry lay, lay self adhesive polymer modified bitumen waterproofing membrane after substrate primer is dry.
If wet lay, lay self adhesive polymer modified bitumen waterproofing membrane after brushing cement mortar
on substrate.
4. Trim self adhesive membrane as request, tear off the protective isolation paper, adhere membrane to the
substrate, discharge air under the membrane with a rubber squeegee(scraper) or a roller, and flatten the
membrane.
5. Membrane lap joint edge sealed with sealing coatings.
6. Add additional coat(layer) at node according to specifications and design request. additional coat(layer) is
self adhesive membrane or double sided self adhesive tape, membrane terminal part and lap joint edge
sealed with sealing coating.
7. In principle, membrane terminal sealing fixed on reserved grooves with metal flattening bar and steel nail,
and sealed with sealing coating.

NOTE
1.Self adhesive membrane pack and isolating membrane removed while laying, avoid reducing bonding
strength because of pollution. Don't lay self adhesive membrane on freezing substrate or contaminated
substrate and the substrate with high moisture content.
2.Membrane should be stored in dry and ventilated place. Membranes should be stacked at relevant area in
terms of their sizes, the storage temperature keep less than 45 ℃. Height of stacking up membrane in
horizontal should less than 4 layers, in vertical should be in 1 layer.
3.Stacking up membrane in horizontal during transportation, avoid tilting or lateral pressure, if necessary,
covered with tarpaulin.
